Scarlet Lime Challenge Met!

All of these pics are of our trip to Texas at the end of May 2009 for Ron's nephew's (Samson) high school graduation. Believe me, there will be more pages of our trip that I just haven't had time to finish yet.

My bff, Tricia, challenged me to use part our Scarlet Lime December kit & I HAD to go take care of it ASAP! Please click on the picture so it will blow up or you will miss some of the very small details! While I didn't use any of the ribbon/fiber that came with the kit, I did use a pale blue CTMH ribbon on the top pic of Ike in the tree.

Left page: Ike in the tree in the front yard, everyone went to look at him acting like a monkey!
Right page: various groups of people playing, mostly brokendown in age groups.

A few months ago, CTMH had a grab box sale and I just had to get one. The following papers were included in the box. I've had a hard time using them, but they worked perfectly for our Texas trip.

Left Page: the super clear sky all the way to Texas, it made for a great drive.
Right Page: Samson's invitation and senior pictures.

Finished my MIL's Album for Christmas!

Hope you enjoy looking at them as much as I enjoyed doing them!

Not everything is CTMH as I went with what worked best for the pages. Please let me know if you'd like to know the name of a paper & I'll do my best to find out what it is.

Did someone say.....

What goes perfectly with scrapbooking & card making? CHOCOLATE!!! Therefore, tonight I signed up under my sister CTMHer, Sheila Cantonwine, who will now be my choco-upline :-)

Once I get my kit, I'll be looking for people to have me feed them chocolate (not necessarily my hand to their mouth, but you know what I mean).

And I must appologize to all, it's been so long since I posted a picture of anything but I promise I HAVE been scrapping! In fact, just last Sunday I actually finished my mil's Christmas present.... her childhood - it's 99% black & white photos from the early 30's to the 60's, it was an amazing project that I love doing every minute. I will take some pics and get them posted of the best pages. I cannot wait to give it to her.

On a funny note, my devil kitty it currently digging thru our clean laundry pulling socks out of the pile & taking off with them. I think he thinks one is a mouse! lol Crazy Gigi!
